John Petronis
A country club PGA Head Golf Professional/manager by day and songwriting rocker by night. John loves to entertain through live music and seeing everyone happy, singing along, and dancing to the best music of yesterday and today. He has two cover-bands here in SWFL. One, an electric party band called Lil Thirsty. The second, Tidewater Duo, playing covers and originals in a more intimate acoustic setting. Performing rock hits, crowd pleasers, and listening to his own musical interests have helped John to shape his influences into some catchy songwriting using various movements, tempos, energy, and emotions. John never copies any specific artist or style and feels his original music comes from the heart & soul. He has adopted the Enso with birds as his symbol because the Enso represents the moment when the mind, body, and spirit are all free to create. Birds represent living life, determination, togetherness, and grace. John mainly writes his own music. However, his songwriting collaboration so far has only been with other artist friends whose story he can relate to and they share similar tastes in music. This is John’s first singer-songwriter festival. Look for his original music to be released by the end of the summer on his first debut album titled “What’s your story?”
